Monitoring the Registry for Errors

You can configure Registry Clean Pro to monitor the registry for errors in background mode. The program will run automatically each time your computer starts up and its icon will appear in the Windows system tray.

Please note that Monitor does not perform the complete scan because this would slow down your computer. Instead, it performs quick registry checks that don't take the hard drive contents into account, only the registry. If Monitor suspects that the registry contains errors, it will prompt you to perform a full registry scan:

To enable registry monitoring:

  1. Run Registry Clean Pro.
  2. Select the Change settings option and click Next.
  3. Check the Enable background registry monitoring checkbox and click Next.
  4. Select registry sections to monitor.
  5. Click Next to save your settings.

Note: The trial version of Registry Clean Pro cannot monitor the COM/ActiveX and File Extensions sections of the registry. See How to Get the Full Version of Registry Clean Pro for more information.
