Registry Clean Pro lets you customize registry scans. Use the Custom Scan option to search the registry for particular types of errors (shared DLLs, missing fonts, invalid startup entries, etc).

Startup

If the Startup checkbox is checked, Registry Clean Pro examines the registry for invalid references to the executable files that are run automatically when your computer starts up. For more information, see Registry Sections to Scan: Startup.

Shared DLLs

If the Shared DLLs checkbox is checked, Registry Clean Pro examines the registry for invalid references to shared DLL files. For more information, see Registry Sections to Scan: Shared DLLs.

Fonts

If the Fonts checkbox is checked, Registry Clean Pro examines the registry for invalid references to font files. For more information, see Registry Sections to Scan: Fonts.

Application Info

If the Application Info checkbox is checked, Registry Clean Pro examines the registry for invalid references to installed applications. For more information, see Registry Sections to Scan: Application Info.

Miscellaneous

If the Miscellaneous checkbox is checked, Registry Clean Pro examines the registry for invalid references to shared folders, help files, and most recently used files.

For more information, see:

COM/ActiveX

If the COM/ActiveX checkbox is checked, Registry Clean Pro examines the registry for invalid references to COM and ActiveX objects. For more information, see Registry Sections to Scan: COM/ActiveX.
